Two Months Poem by Rachel Byrum

Two Months

It would have been two months today
But who's counting anyways...
I wish i wasn't
But i am
I see you in the hall
I try to act like i don't care
And i try not to fall
You saw me today and you smiled
Do you even remember 'us'?
I'm wondering all the time
Would we still be together
If it hadn't gotten all screwed up...
I guess its our happy and not so happy
Two month anniversary
Half was good
We were together
The other half was bad
We are friends with one another
When i wish we were still lovers...
But friends is fine
You make me laugh
And thats all good and dandy
