Two Poets Poem by Jaipal Singh

The extremely talented
And spirited poet
Was reciting his poesies
Non-stop, one after another...

The clueless audience
Flabbergasted and aghast
Was quietly leaving auditorium
Bored, one after another

Unfazed, he stood at podium
Till he finished his last
Of numerous poems with
Metaphysical theme and ethos

Finally he profusely thanked
Audience - the only onlooker left
For his kind patronage and patience
And was about to leave

When the latter exclaimed -
Please hold on
And stay back for a while
Now it's my turn Boss...!
