It really wasn't meant to be like this
At least it wasn't naught
But, we went right along with it
We didn't have the time

Nor did we make the time
Lets get on with it, it's right with it
Sometime it's worth giving a try to a second

Sometimes the U-turn is necessary
Some times the U-turn is so necessary
So come on baby lets go with the red light

Lets get on with it…Shine it through
Cos sometimes the U-turn is necessary
