Ultima danca

Existira coisa mais triste,
Que uma cadeira vazia?
Uma sensação perdida,
Numa certeza nao dita?

Existiria vidas e alegrías,
Entre labirintos de dor?
Ou seriamos apenas uma perda,
Entre a paixão e o amor?

Seriamos um espectro,
Numa estrada elevada?
Numa total desesperança,
Entre a mentira e o fervor?

Acreditar sem saber, lentamente…
…como elevarse a um novo amanhecer…
Mas que seria da mentira,
Se fosse nosso proprio ser?

Utopias de uma verdade,
Que carregamos sem perceber?
Transformando esta vida,
Numa felicidade sem prazer...

Te elevo entre céus e montanhas,
E te visto de amor e esperança,
E te percorro em cada suspiro,
Numa busca perene…
… vivendo desta lembrança…

Entre mundos e oceanos,
Te lembro como criança,
Numo certeza que fostes a inspiração,
Da minha ultima dança.

They are all gone into the world of light!
And I alone sit ling'ring here;
Their very memory is fair and bright,
And my sad thoughts doth clear.
