Unamed Poem by Jenny Molloy

Unamed

I look into your eyes and I can see you desperately need to cry.
I see into your sole and know you need to feel love.
I find that in your heart there is a space that needs to be filled.
As I hold you in my arms, I feel like my life is noting.
I spend all my days longing to be with you.
And all my nights looking for something, any thing, to fill your emptiness.
I hope and pray that you could see how much I need you, I need you to want me to.
Someday soon, I know, you will run to me with arms spread to greet.
One day you can open your door and welcome me in to your life once more.
I give thanks to people who have helped me get so close to you.
If only you could open up and let me in.
Feel free agene like the swallow and smile like the sun, so bright and worm.
But all I ask now, all I need today so I can rest my head in piece, is for you to close your eyes.
Feel the ocean as you breath in and out.
Feel my heart beat so loud for you.
Keep me close no matter were you are.
Remember me.
