having said all we could say,
so ended the call.
Times remembered and hoped for,
a future planned; unanswered.

Thanks for your comment and maybe this will help. From the call in the first part, no answer could be found to resolve issues and live the life they had hoped for. Hence, the planned future was left unanswered.
