Under The Surface
I thought the bond we shared was stronger,
Than all the miles that sat between us
But as I sit alone I consider
Maybe it’s darker under the surface
I must admit I’ve claimed this feeling before
But I was foolish then and I now see what’s real
How I long to see your face once more
And those words which now seem surreal
I wish you would speak them, when will I see you next?
