Unemotional Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Unemotional

So dearly
Loved one
Within
The depths
Of his heart
His beloved
Absolutely
Innocent about
Unaware of
Entire craze
And in-thing
Of the pitiable
Sorry figure
Attention-grabber
Inopportune
Self-styled lover.

For her natural
Reflex approach
Unreceptive
Way of life
No where
Reflecting
Her yes or no
Involving her
Towards his
Inner conflict
Appearing
Unemotional.

What a pity!
Neither any change
Could be noticed
In her attitude
Towards him
Nor his behavior
Could make her
Change.

Consistently
As usual as
She might be
In her routine
Walking straight
Her way to college
And back to home
Unnoticed
Over looking
The young man
So called her lover
Like a number of
Strangers
Or eve chasers
Daily unlike him
While to and fro
All across the way
Keeping
Herself insensate
And numb.

Total failure
Un-admittedly
Like a defeated
Venture player
He fails to keep
Sharmilee moved
Hiding-
His frame of mind
Bashfully from her.
