Unfair
I want just a little more time,
I don't want to let go,
even as you wave
I can't just be brave
I want to stay and watch and play
don't make me go away
But I'm slipping
and the noise is fading
my feet are moving
the rest of me will join them
take a picture, grab a handful, sniff the air
but I still know that it's not fair
