Unfulfilled Dreams Poem by Stephen Holcombe

Unfulfilled Dreams

She appears at my darkest moment,
but here we understand our love and pleasures,
nothing stands in our way,
as our love soars,
I glance into her eyes,
wondering who she really is,
as then she fades away,
I awake feeling abandon,
and for a brief second,
I was in love.
