Uninspired (Until Words Follow After Me)

UNINSPIRED
(Until Words Follow After Me)
By Steven A. J. Drake
April 23,2012

Sometimes I feel so uninspired.
For all whom have falsely inquired.
Thinking I honestly knew them.
Until the pain crashes down on my soul.
Feeling lost in the process.
Where one has feared to go.
Out of the elements of wind, earth and fire.
Dodging secrets demeaning to personalities.
Whipped at the post of flagrant promises.
Marital schemes gone awry to drinking.

Shadowed down. False impressions.
Guests up to the end of time's confessions.
Drawn from deep inside. Shooting off
their mouths for a fly on the wall.
Friends where foes are after all…
Suspended animation's distance recalled.
Echoed down hallways for roads of inlets.
Where dreams should never fall.
No good blessings. Ignorance stalled.

Whistler's Mother rocking chairs.
Starry nights should be spared. Reasonable
causes in silent prayers. Dawning light
somewhere under the sun's flairs.
Approaching earth. Mirth of magic won.
For your next frontier. Honing swords cut
through my words. No final death to
aftermath. Sharing preferences. Equipped.
Fiery infernos daunting dragon's breath.

Mixing thunder's authorship. Pined. Pinning
dire requests. Yearning off the edge of real
life testaments. Truth behind eyes of the
Pentecost. Pent up emotions never lain
to rest. Searching out deliverance.
In light of wisdom well thought out.
Past barriers in your panic room.
Heads for tall orders gravely spoken of.
Archangel's safety, faithfully displayed.
