Universal Frame (Outside) Poem by Raymond J Wright

Universal Frame (Outside)

Rating: 5.0

Signal fires
Brighter than the sun
Attempt in vain
To guide me through the night
Slandered
Burned upon the stake
Thrown into the lions den
So that I could find my way
On the spirals edge
Outside the universal frame
I survey the black beyond
Struggling through my madness
To make it through the night
Ancient constellations
Fall within my wake
As I dive toward infinity
Past the signal fires
Ignited by the angels
To guide the lonely home
