Universal Human*
(*original in Telugu by Papineni SivaSankar)
No, not physically challenged
But he, who challenged physics
He who emerged victor
Over the paralyzing ‘motor neuron’
With his intellectual work-out
He who stabilized
The powdered sounds of speech
With the speech-synthesizer
He who instilled confidence
In all those challenged
With his brawny arms of wisdom
He’s a swimmer par excellence
In the cosmic oceans
With limbs paralyzed
Performs aerobics in the cavern of time
He swings joyfully
On the threads of galaxies
Steadfast in his belief
That the universe is eternal
He went on to define a designer-universe
Denying entry even to the original designer
No, he isn’t physically-challenged
He is Mr. Intellectual-handsome
