The options are unacceptable
Lingering thoughts of pain
For so costly the act of togetherness
The linking part is sweet bitter

I can't hold longer
Neither can I embrace
These disrespectful, dishonour and unrequited love
The uncanny caring

We thought we were meant to be
But now, love, joy, happiness, laughter and jokes are now foreigners
We have refused to work it out together
Let separation be a friend forever...
