Until Poem by Raymond Farrell

Until

Until
Humans stop
Speaking of war
In glowing terms
And quit
Referring to
The glorious dead
Who often
Had the misfortune
Of being drafted
Into the conflict
Without realizing
Its implications
War
Will remain
An option
Far too readily
Resorted to
By nations
In their dealings
With other nations.

Just as bad as being unwillingly drafted is being brainwashed into a warped sense of patriotism and forced to die for politicians and corporations

Sad to say that also seems to be very prevalent as well.

I cant agree more, because what you said is totally true...and how irony life is when people life just like fallen autumn leaves...life is nothing in the war, yet humanity claimed to be more expensive... but meaning is just nothing.. Love is the cure still
