Until I Come Again

“The world may scoff and wonder why
May squirm, may war and fight
Sceptics hold tight to Satan’s lie
Yet all need love and light

To Jesus Christ, most eyes are blind
The deaf are lost and weak
The bride may try to reach mankind
Who still for darkness seek

The church must rise, must try yet more
Her lamp must pierce the night
The captive soul must find life’s Door
The blind must gain their sight

Life’s race has many run and lost
Condemned to meet the sword
Yet still their dye’s not finally tossed
If Christ becomes their Lord

Though Satan’s job is to deceive
Though demons come to roost
The greatest sceptic can believe
Once Christ is introduced

Impart God’s truth as to a friend
Show all the world you care –Lk.10: 33-37
Invite the sinner’s knee to bend
Eternal life to share

Encourage those who fear and doubt
The faint, give strength to stand
Help sheep that stray turn swift about
And seek Salvation’s hand

Take up the plough attend the field
Prepare the crop for rain
Bring in the barn the precious yield
Until I come again”…
