Until Known (Soon) Poem by HIMAvinandan D'Costa-Roy I

Until Known (Soon)

Heavy wind had brought leaves brown
On the otherwise clear pavement,
The whispers in the breeze sent sound
Through the lit sunless solitary afternoon,
Clarity diluted harmlessly in engagement,
Attentive, unfocused, unmoving, every so soon,
Still in luke warm gust; no thought,
Specifically gazed young boy in intent-
Unerrved immersed in enjoying the drowsiness brought.
Unclear only momentarily he peered, not sought.

Lunch or sport swift passage
Hadn't but crossed in wonder,
In chimes that sound, in chirps the message
More time to pass unknown of soon,
The little flittings undisturbed of, of yonder,
Of the recent exhaustion, heaviness of afternoon,
He had in mind for only the next,
Sleepy he'd begun to be-
Yet not interested in any rest.
Only the practice of time now every best.

In slumber does the mind monition
Peaceful activity to quiet self,
Wasted nought in any rendition
Only further deeper insightful,
In of young boy's accompaniment,
Unpollutable unpointable heavenly artful,
Hadn't had the drowse yet dissipated,
No sooner had the passage fulfilled-
Unclear still sleep devoured unconcepted.
Which young boy had gladly accepted.

True aren't any mystery dreary dreary
Exhausted unexhasted active,
Aren't any soon yonder scary scary
Oh where's here and who's there?
When's now, which day how?
And there's none here to stare,
Entreatise sure marked upon said manner,
Human person's mornings and evenings-
Not much yet of can and canner.
Little histories, and mind's eye scanner.

And rest young boy only prepares
All the bags of cash he was born with,
To carry memories through all that fares
His books and guests are covered,
And he aims in sweats and myth,
He makes and brings which he savoured,
For others have had to be pleased,
And young boy's day must end-
However much his young elbows greased.
Young boy just has had to be ceased.
