Until We Make It To Promised Land Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Until We Make It To Promised Land

Rating: 5.0

God does not want the chosen ones
To be destroyed on judgment day;
Keep our spirit, soul, and body blameless,
Make ourselves holy in every way.

Given a right standing with God,
We were acquitted and justified;
Through the faith we possess;
We were declared righteous on God's side.

Grasp the fact that we have,
As we attained the real peace;
We all belong to Christ Jesus,
Aim at the Lord's glorious bliss.

We received the blessings from God
For we joined the Church Of Christ;
Never let go of our election,
Nor be blinded by the devil's lies.

Satan's modus operandi to blind men
Is to distort the teachings with tricks;
He uses the false prophets and preachers
Who employ dirty schemes and tactics.

Let's not be stupefied by the cares,
Profits and worldly pleasure;
The enemy is like a roaring lion
Who hunts for prey to devour.

Don't allow anyone to change
The truth taught by the Messenger;
The words of God are proclaimed
By the present Executive Minister.

Examine and test ourselves,
We need firsthand evidence;
Make sure Christ is in our life,
For us to have solid confidence.

All the things will pass away,
We ought to understand;
Hold on to our genuine faith,
Until we make it to promised land.
