Untogether Poem by Martyn Grindrod

Untogether

Rating: 5.0

Sorrow stains my mind
Like an indelible ink
I've trod an uncertain path
my fire and venom causes of your wrath

Me missing your you is my excuse
I'm far from ready to be let loose
What would it take for your forgiveness
My dowsabel my tender caress

You say you love me
for the way I am
well this is me all bark no bite
All love, lust, bluster and fight

I apologise for this rollercoaster
Up and down, Over and under
My actions were wrong
I admit fault it was my blunder

So please find in your heart
for me
A place for your no 1 fan
your best friend, Your man

So I call on your better nature
Put us back in arms
Please release my tether
We are not ready for Untogether

thank you
