Up Now Poem by Marilyn Jean

Up Now

Rating: 4.0

This was unexpected
A last turn
Then going up
Not a tear left
Most colors faded
Words lost their taste
Coming here was an habit
Neither a compulsion
Nor a real creation
The ache was minimal
The road was truly
Up and up for now
This was shocking
Surprise then Bang
Almost a thrilling joy
Alone but standing up
After all here
This and all the time
Just with love at heart
