Update On Ted
The first time I read
A News clipping about Ted,
The article stated he was such
a nice little boy.
He was never known to be sad.
And hardly ever got mad.
Even as a boy, he never broke
a toy.
The last time I read
A News story about Ted,
I learned he wasn't doing so well.
He committed such a crime
That warranted years of time,
He may never enjoy freedom
from jail.
