Utopian Rainbows Poem by Jean Dament

Utopian Rainbows

Wouldn't it be sublime,
To see rainbows ahead everyday...it'd truly be devine,

Like a promise of a perfect day;
Where all things would go well in every way,

Somehow they happen to show up during or after dark storms,
I'd prefer to see them with the sunshine & calm...... for that to be the norm,

But that's not real life....only a dream,
One-a hopeful wish...it seems,

There are those rare moments to encounter their wonder,
Prisims of multi-colors appearing before us; as we stop to ponder,

Is God reminding us he's still there?
Rainbows are such a gift; where one can't help but pause & stare.
