Vacation Poem by Phil Soar

Vacation

Turn out the lights and lock the door
We cannot stay here any more
Our time has come and we must flee
From our beach home, beside the sea

No more gulls who wake at dawn
Screeching out their morning drawl
No rolling tides that rush to shore
Until we visit here once more
