Valentine's Day Massacre Poem by Phillip Mobley

Valentine's Day Massacre

Just because I'm crazy,
don't think I'm stupid.
I gave you my love with a
rose and a lil' red cupid.
I gave you my heart,
not once, but twice.
You spat on my love
and paid the price.
I slashed up Mr. Cupid
with a butter knife.
Don't think that I'm mad
it's just me being bad.
Plain to see no one
could love you more than me.
So dry your eyes.
Just let it be.
There's no more left of the
chocolate covered strawberry.
