Valentine's Day Poem Poem by Colin Phillimore

Valentine's Day Poem

If we were back at school love
You'd be fixed inside my head,
I'd gaze out of the window
And gawp at words you said.

I'd skip off double physics
Pair up with you in games,
And carve my thoughts on wooden desks
And call you silly names.

I'd open all the doors for you
To pass through like a queen,
And behind bike sheds at break time
We'd snog our movie scene.

But even now we're all grown up
My head's full of your smell,
And I still gaze out the window
Awaiting the home time bell.

When I'll carry your books and giggle
Show off for the whole world to see,
The fact that I am your lover
And, that you are in love with me!

Guess Who?
Hope you give me a Detention!
