Van Gogh Poem by chris schwartz

Van Gogh

Do not die hard,
In an effort to provoke
The warriors
You have created.
Their attack will be swift,
Strong, enabling you
To die without the glory
Of victory.
Insanity will defeat you
Unless you paint your past
With the colors of Van Gogh,
Of your black and gray past.
What sets me aside,
From all the rest, I ask?
"Nothing.Quite nothing."
I said, at last.
