Vijayadashami Poem by Bisy Untan

Vijayadashami

I knocked at the door and asked
'Who is inside? '
The door opened with a thunder
I saw Thee with the Evil dripping blood.

I prostrated in front of Thee with awe
And a shower of light fell upon me,
I opened my eyes and wondered
Nobody was inside.

I sat lonely feeling some magic
Splendid suns rose around
Water rushed down the hills
Swans, birds and all danced around.

Purity clad me in white
Music played my strings
I flowed down in bliss
With lotus all around.
