Virgin After Sex Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Virgin After Sex

Rating: 4.5

Virgin after sex

Then I was around five

Displaced villager in a town
Esfahan! ! !

Was too young to digest many things
Could not feel beyond seen.

Knew not much about
‘The faiths and politics'.

"Be careful" was warning
But to me meant nothing:
‘Of Alley of the Jews'.

I went, passed and crossed
And returned home alive
And hid it from Mom.

With a shout I woke up
It was dark of midnight.

Abdomen was in pain
Felt blood all over
Of the Jews' long needles!

Each man pushed and then licked
The needle which was soaked with blood
Then passed to next one.

In circle I was pushed
Felt as rat on fire in a bowl.

And later Coup d'état
Shah escaped and returned
I observed fists in air, slogans.

I became a virgin after sex…
