Voices, Voices Poem by Greg Gaul

Voices, Voices

Rating: 5.0

I am the tiny voice in your head
I have no thoughts where I have tread
Nor accounts for what I've said

I lay deep down and stay there tight
But always far from your sole sight
Mostly heard in the late of night

I sound like you, that I do know
Hidden within, wherever you go
When you're afraid, then I show

Really listen, you'll be fine
Inside I lie where there's no time
There's no real reason, nor no rhyme

From worried whispers, turn instead
You feel the fears and dare the dread
Hope for escape when you are...
