Vulture Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Vulture

Rating: 5.0

Intent and purposeful
The vulture eyes the prey
Yet waits patiently

Though in search of death
The vulture still has courtesy
To spare the living

But the vulture in a human
Perceives the living for the dead.

A poem, short, succint and powerful. Let me quote-Though in search of death The vulture still has courtesy To spare the living But the vulture in a human Perceives the living for the dead.

Yes, Nosheen! There is a vulture in every human. So very true. Vulture is a scavenger, waits. But not the one in human beings. Profound. Top score, Nosheen.

Such wisdom and great insight from a soulful poetess! Thank God that the human vultures are relatively few. But, still a few too many!
