I am in love with you
You stepped forward
nobody else was there
I leaned on you
head on your shoulder
But you have her
And still I don't care
I know with every fiber in me
that you belong with me
but for now I must hold on
Patience wearing thin
I can't give in
I close my eyes and dream my dream
And in it you are there
holding me
kissing me
telling me how much you care
It is not like I'm obsessed
or naive or foolish or filled with air
I know what my soul tells me to do
And that my love, is wait for you...
