Waiting For Answers

Waiting, waiting always waiting
Good results less than rare
More than ever nerves are grating
No one seems to even care

Who can see the tempers rising?
Gnashing teeth knives that grind
Death and Sickness not surprising
So frustrates the troubled mind

Prayers to God are so decreasing
Overflowing criminal courts
War and conflicts never ceasing
Dreadful fear consuming thoughts

Troubles, questions, problems, theories
Will we ever see the end?
Christ can answer all these queries?
When man’s humble knees will bend

Spare a thought of God’s great sorrow
Spare a single thought on love
Think a while of your tomorrow
Give a thought of life above

Did Christ die for your salvation?
Did He truly rise again?
Was His life a fabrication?
Was His death for you in vain?

Was He there for man’s reception?
Worldly fame and fortune’s dawn
Who would die for pure deception?
Who would suffer gladly scorn?

Christ shied not His blood from spilling?
Gladly Jesus bore the pain
Suffering death His Father willing
That you and I could live again
