Waiting For You Poem by Bonnie Collins

Waiting For You

Rating: 5.0

Living life without you is by far
the hardest chore in my life

Walking along beaches of pearly
white sand, leaving only my pair
footsteps, entering a room with
no one on my shoulder with a reasuing
tug, little things that represent life now
must go on without you

I will never leave your side you said to me
However that is the one part that seems
to play a vital role in living without you

I remember each and every kiss you gave
me, do you know that? I remember the aroma
of your cologne, and the color you looked best
in, funny, I never thought you would leave first

I am happy though you did, for I would never
want you to live your life without me, So till
the heavens gates opens its doors, and the
angels pay thier visit, I will be here waiting
for you..........

A sensitive piece revealing hearty feelings, yearning for the gone by lovely moments…treasuring them as eternal memories, and waiting for the final union… Exotic imagery of nature at sea side, love and the angel’s visit….. white sand, leaving only my pair footsteps… …………………………..very impressive and touching lines……. **Abha**
