Waiting Outside The Door Of Your Heart Poem by Christian Crisostomo

Waiting Outside The Door Of Your Heart

Such a wonderful phenomenon,
I swam like a swan in your bloodstream;
I travel and wander around you body;
my soul passes through your veins until
I reach your heart.

I saw the door of your heart
a well-sculptured cedar from the east,
coated with gold and precious stones.
I wonder if you're inside...
I wonder if you're sleeping.

I didn't try to knock.
I don't want to disturb your precious dreams
so I sit outside you door...
I just allow my soul to sing at the corridor,
waiting for you to wake up and find me outside.

While you are sleeping silently
inside the canister of your wonderful universe,
I shall be the knight to protect you,
and be an angel to guide you!
My soul will be singing for you forever!
