The weight of the world is too much
You see soo much unfairness its not right

Sometimes you feel you should put up a fight

The people you want to help are fickle
They agree there is injustice at the first shot they take flight

Why should people obey rules and customs
Just because "It's our customs and traditions" is the remark trite

Wake up to whats important in your life
The years of activism and youthful exuberance are over
But i am sick to my stomach to see retrogression so bright

It is only through the application of scientific inquiry
And changing with the changing world that we will succeed
