Walking Solo In The Rain Poem by Bill Simmons

Walking Solo In The Rain

Rating: 5.0

The easy part is over now
The hard part soon begins
Walking solo in the rain
Wishing somehow it would end

Your friends they come by
And you turn away your eyes
You force a smile
But you’re lying inside

You step soon outside
And you look up at the sky
Hoping to hide the pain
Praying for the rain

Walking solo in the rain
Let the rain fall, hide the tears, hide the pain
The easy part is over and gone
Now you must face loneliness on your own

Now it’s only for the crying time
Her memories come running through your mind
You try to forget but wont let go the pain
Walking solo in the rain.
