Walking The Streets Of Desire Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Walking The Streets Of Desire

Rating: 5.0

Holding the finger of desire
A man walks in Greed Street so dire,
Reaching nowhere, still getting tired,
His path with bogs and fens is mired.
But he walks on nevertheless,
Such is the human greed I guess.

Lord Buddha says: " Desire is the cause of all sorrows" ...you poem unfolds the violation of Budha's mantra which is very clearly depicted in your last line! A brilliant short work sir.......10
