Walking Through Ants Poem by Jason Bakker

Walking Through Ants

Walking through the park
Head down
Confidence questioned
Unsociable

Stepping left and right
No cracks of consequence
Leaves falling as shelter
Raindrops as tidal waves

Busier than beavers
A path unfathomable
I am
Walking through ants
