War
A conflict carried on by force of arms
Terrorizes any and everyone it harms
Sometimes they fight for land or they fight for peace
That's like a homo-phoebe pledgin gays should be able to marry at least
It's subliminally engraved into the children's minds
Whoever disagrees I have a whole land of signs
So many military games out now like Ghost recon or Call of duty
Bang Bang shoot em up is what they’re sayin to us truly
So many people get that call and I hear the people cries
Because when the rich wage war it's the poor who dies
Then they hate it when the people try to get them to see what they see
But the peoples word counts that's why we set up democracy
It takes away peoples dignity, their lovers, and their lives
It's destroyin Men and woman, children, husbands and wives
Then they expect everyone should be all for it all of our days
But we don't have to be for it we never wanted it anyways
But we're only 'little people' none of us mean a thing
They all hate our guts but they sing let freedom ring
Don't you see it doesn't matter what anyone thinks
It doesn't matter if the governments wrong or the president stinks
Now we got people goin and fightin all the way over seas
And people are dyin more frequently than from the deadliest disease
And it’s not just country to country or from churches or domes
The people in this world are witnessin this in their own homes
It's all about what they say but we don't want that anymore
Cause this dirty thing in this world is a three letter word, WAR!

And it all started with terrorists who attacked the USA on 9/11 hoping to bring down our nation...These people are making the ultimate sacrifice on their own accord because they believe in this war and they want to prevent our nation from another act like this one. Did you not just hear about the plot broken up to blow up Kennedy Airport and God only knows the hundreds of thousands that would have been killed and what areas arount JFK also destroyed. Too close to home for me...once in this country was one time too many! ! Terrorists want destruction and we will all be gone and our children and their children IF we do not defend our nation in whatever way we must... God Bless America Land of the Free and Home of the Brave! ! ! The dirty word you seem to have forgotten is Terrorists who wanted to kill millions thinking that God would give them Virgins in heaven.....They are the ones you should be angry at...! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! mm. JMHO >>> this reads like an anti american scream to me, not a poem.....

The saddest thing, Corey, is that war keeps the wheels of American commerce going... no war no America its as simple and as terrifying as that... This is a very insightful write... regards Alf.
