War On Myself Poem by Monkee Thompson

War On Myself

Too many times and in too many ways,
So many lives and they all go to waste.

Everybody knows yet nobody cares,
The cheapness of politics leaves death on the streets.

A war against the people by those with the means,
Civilians all crying, caused by their impotence.

Now stand up and fight, no war on yourself,
Rise up and take back the country you built.

All together and marching as one,
The governments will fall, freedom and anarchy for all.
