Wasnt Worth It Poem by Eric Markisen

Wasnt Worth It

thes lines
to which i write
are not what you think
they dont tell of someone
who is on pain
or otherwise
they explain
the depth of my
soul
my mind
and all that is
why do i do it?
why do you ask?
no reason at all
boredom most certainly
or the lack of friends
whatever the case
hes here
writing
typing it out
on the paper
scribbling his life
onto the worlds parchment
for others to see
and laugh at his
misfortune
of being
himself
of living under the hands
of others
his only opinion
worthless to most
valuable to none
tells tales of fear
and savage hate
that dwells within
then apathy takes over
and he cares far less that expected
talks to none
lives for himself
if that even worth it
