Wave Of Fire Poem by Janelle Morehart

Wave Of Fire

Wave of fire
This hit will be dire
All on a summers night
Sing a song
We'll all be gone
Except for the few that may survive
Run along it wont be long
Till this wave finally hits
A death toll
A hundred live's to be stole
A fiery wave
No one culd be saved
They're all gone
So I'll sing this song
Cause I had been right all a long
I told the truth
I spoke it to you
But they didnt believe me
Of this fire wave
That ruined that day
Killing all that I knew
They asked me for proof
I could give none
So they scoffed and reduced
What little belief and trust
Oh well they're gone now
They should've believed me
If they would still be here this moment
I guess not all are smart as they seem
But you seem to know
And you seem to care
Here's a secret
I hope you care...
