Waves Poem by Maya Hanson

Waves

Rating: 5.0

We stay here
with the clock ticking,

we make no decisions
we might not regret,

we make every decision
and leave them all behind us when dawn breaks.

I sit here on your skin,
hang worlds from the corners of your mouth

and now we are a mountain,
I can taste the snowcaps,
depending on the day we are summiting
or drowning in the floods below us,

every moment brings a new wave
sometimes I ride it and
sometimes I collapse.

Clock ticks and we stay here. Ticking goes on and we feel to decide. We sit and take every decision as per time. An amazing poem is shared here...10
