We Dont Have To Weep. Poem by Tony Adah

We Dont Have To Weep.

If I have to weep
That I am hungry
What about those
That have died?
If I have to weep
That that I have no shoes
How about those without legs?
If I have to weep that I am blind
How about those that are
Blind, deaf and dumb?
If I have to blind myself
That things are not working well
When they turn working well
Who will loan me their eyes?
I won't have to bother
For the world regulates itself
And what is lost in one area
Is gained in another!
