We Only Believe When We Fall Poem by Poetic Crisis

We Only Believe When We Fall

Now we know what we have done,
And what we have to do,
Tonight we rebuild this structure,
The structure known as you,
Take whatever tools we need to the grounds,
Take away the pain, Pray to god her soul is found,
Such a long road ahead to pass through,
Oh god, Why can't you just tell them the truth?

It is time to overcome, What we hide from,
This is in your hands and there is a demand,
It has been harder to believe, We believe in nothing,
We are the hopeless, We are better off dead,

Close your eyes and tear me apart, I can't feel anything anymore,
Please give us your hands, So we can protect your heart,
Everything has lost it's only existence,
Trapped in a mind, Powered by resistance,
Just close your eyes and tear my heart to pieces,
We are reliving our bitter decisions,
Our souls materialize into something new,
Something we cannot hide, This feeling of truth,

It is time to overcome, What we hide from,
This is in your hands and there is a demand,
It has been harder to believe, We believe in nothing,
We are the hopeless, We are better off dead,

We've lost our soul through a declaration,
I can see that this doesn't fit me,
I can feel you seeing through me,
I fear that it all, It all is now falling apart...
