The day after yesterday
We had great expectations
Now we have no explanation
For the failures of today
We had it all perfectly planned
The timing impeccable
The mishaps imperceptible
Reality finally panned
Today is the day of reckoning
The day after yesterday
We have nothing to say
No celebration beckoning
We tried our best
Even the best plans fail
We know what it entails
The day after yesterday is our test
