Weine Nicht: Cry Of A Mother Poem by Dozie Wogu

Weine Nicht: Cry Of A Mother

T' was a tale of two crowds
One with the Saviour
The other without
The one was with the King of glory
Why wouldn't they be happy?
He cared for them
Healed them and gave them cause to rejoice
But the other was bedevilled with death
Death oh death! !
She must have lamented
In both lauten und ruhig Schrei
Why my only son? Why death?
Yes she was erschweren
But her sorrows were to change
As the happy throng clasped with this sorrow laden train
Yes the King of glory was before when,
Life and death met face to face
On the beautiful Plain of Esdraelon
And von Angesicht zu Angesicht
They looked at each other but
Life conquered death and even before then,
The Life told that widow of Nain
'Weine Nicht'
Oh widow of Nain don't cry
Because the giver of life is here
Life will come back to your son
Raise your face and look at Him as
The Ruler of the universe beseeches you
Bitte, 'Weinen Nicht'
