What Colorless Sunshine Poem by Iam notThou

What Colorless Sunshine

What colorless sunshine beams from her eyes
That meets said moonlight in heav'nly liason?
While she wakes early 'gainst the horizon,
Hues unknown by angels brighten pale skies.

What lovely smile adds years to lifetimes
That uplifts the clouds, higher and higher?
Who tears the wings from the riant flier,
When parting her lips with low wistful sighs.

What humbling darkness now flares in her eyes
That punctures the night with blazing shadow?
In spectral slumber such phantoms shall glow
And call the sleepless to pray by her side.

What prayers are echoed when stillness resides,
That might both be heard where two hearts entwine?
