What Do You See When You Look At Me?

You see the look in my eyes
The look of innocence and guilt
But do you see the pain and all the tears
Do you see all those times that I tried to die
All those times where I felt so hopeless
Felt so out of place
All those times where my heart was shattered over and over again
Where most of my friends stabbed me in the back
Do you see all of that
I don't want you to feel sorry for me
But I want you to be the one that I can tell anything to
That I can tell all my dark secrets to
I want you to be the one that I run to
Do you want to be that one
The one who holds me and who protects me
Please say that you do
I'm hopeless its true
Because of you I fell so hard and now I'm chasing after you

OH this is filled with so much emotion and sadness, Love at times can go through so many many valleys, but I have always found the low valleys are the lonliest, and the ones that can leave a scar for life, and you dont even have a cut... Just a broken heart.... You conveyed so well, how the pain has affected you.. Hope all works out for the best....
