What Happen To Bed Side Manners Poem by Elizabeth Torres

What Happen To Bed Side Manners

Mr.And Mrs. Medical
You changed your mission
You changed your ethics
The nurses
The Doctors
The Others
From what I seen
From What I had to endure
Bed side manners dont exist
They make the patient pissed
How the heck you become medical oppressors
Medical Industry
Something is wrong
When you join in

Who
What
Where
The ones that dont care
Details
Dont matter
America
The bed side manners
Got so bad
It makes you wonder
Why did they become
Doctors
Nurses
Nurse with a curse
What's up Doc
Why are you rushing us out the room
What's up nurse
Do you have to rehearse
How to have compassion
Or were you born with it
We need T.L.C
Tender loving care
Not the grouchy bear
Talking to us
Like we got the nerve
To come to you in pain
It is not just county hospitials
Now All hospitals
Start treating
Stop emotional beating
The patient
We come in sick
Leave out
Emotionally battered
You got too comfortable
We know
You have reality shows
But bed side manners
Needs to be reinforce
Did they teach that course
In medical Schools
If You Just dont have empathy
Why the heck are you in this Industry?
